Shelton Financial is small local family owned firm designed to meet our surrounding community accounting and tax needs. On any given afternoon this fact a client is reminded of that by the appearance of the Shelton kids. As they grow into being around Dada and Moma at the office they have become a staple here and customers have come for the great service, yet stay extra time to enjoy the young kids.

The Shelton kids bring life and energy to this firm and are a vital part of our operations. The oldest two assist in standard administrative cleaning and organizing. Shannon and Mandy discovered a new role for the youngest just this past tax season. We noticed he enjoyed walking room to room and introducing himself. So the best job we could assign Deacon “Doc” Shelton was a vacant position this firm never had before … Security Guard. You can find him wearing his Security Guard shirt while at the office.

Bryson

Bryson is the bookworm and inquisitor. His focus is not on the end results but rather on the how and what method. He is also very respectful to other and wants to assist when he can. Boy Scout Troop 322 is a very important part of his life and he is constantly working with his troop and his desires to move up to the next rank. Boy Scout merit badges are racking up quickly in this young man’s life as he becomes a teenager and is finding that only through hard work, dedication and perseverance is your goal ultimately achieved. Bryson also enjoys being part of the youth at Providence Road Baptist Church and currently has joined the school band. Bryson also assist Shelton Financial when available at local events as a volunteer.

Caroline

Caroline is the social butterfly of the family and is able to strike up a conversation with anyone passing her way. In her first year as a junior with Girl Scouts she earned her Bronze award and in the past has finished 5th and 8th in the Western Part of North Carolina in Girl Scout Cookie Sales. Some of her other interest includes Golf, Karate, Basketball, or anything that can make her a part of their group. Caroline also has found her way to volunteer with Shelton Financial at local events. Shelton Financial is looking forward to gaining a new role for this firm once she is a little older as our Social Media Supervisor.

Deacon

Deacon is the one that brings the smiles around the office. He was the baby, now turned toddler, his job has become that of our Security Guard when we noticed he would have to greet every client that came in. Deacon does have his moments when it’s just mom and dad around but when a client comes in he doesn’t care who you are he wants to meet you for “inspection” and let you know that he is here.

Edaline

Born October 9, 2016, the newest addition promises the reminder that life is ever changing and God’s blessings with continue to abound should you seek them. She will no doubt become Deacon’s “ball” for a playmate in the office as she inherits her role in the office. God’s beauty never ceases and His love is shown through small bundles such as Edaline.
