Mandy Shelton, Operations Manager

With over 11 years in the banking industry and legal field, Mandy is very knowledgeable in the financial industry and knows how to obtain information needed from outside sources that pertain to the issues at hand. A 2005 graduate of Lenoir Rhyne College with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Notary Public she has the experience it takes to gather the information needed from our local government. Mandy brings vast real estate knowledge and banking regulation compliance familiarity to our firm. Being a previous business owner herself she also understands how important being prompt and customer service relations are.

Shannon and Mandy began their relationship in May 1997 while working afterschool at a local restaurant. Both with an interest in sports lead to a friendship that expanded to religion and family events. Right after high school, Shannon and Mandy married in February 2000 and currently have 3 kids, Bryson, Caroline, & Deacon. Baby Edaline will be making her arrival sometime mid October 2016. Rosa helps complete their home being their four legged fur baby. Mandy is the Operations Manager for Shelton Financial assisting Shannon with various office duties from greeting you on the phone or at the door, picking up or delivering items from and to various clients, being available to help assist clients with various accounting services, along with whatever else may arise during the way. Outside of Shelton Financial, Mandy enjoys worshiping Christ and serving at Providence Road Baptist Church, being involved with the kids many activities especially the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts and taxing them around. The Shelton Family enjoys traveling and seeing God’s different creations in the world. It’s absolutely amazing how each region is different and how much you can learn about the history of the different areas. Recently Mandy has found a great joy in volunteering time at local charities to show the community that Shelton Financial is truly a hometown accounting office and that we take pride and joy of serving our community. It doesn’t matter if you make $5,000 a year or $500,000 a year, Mandy is going to treat each person how she would want to be treated if she were in the same position.
